Day eight.
I can’t believe I started this last Saturday. It feels like it’s been 30 days already. Wishful thinking. I had a craving for cereal when I woke up this morning. Shoulder still hurts. No coffee…
Breakfast drink: one banana ($.25) + 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries ($.50?) blended, combined with one granny apple ($.60), juiced, mixed with soy milk, over ice. Delicious. I juiced another apple and combined it with last night’s leftovers.
Snacks: So hungry today. I ate 3/4 of an avocado ($.75) + 1/2 a tomato ($.15), a tablespoon of peanut butter and six gummy vitamins — I couldn’t stop. Ill-advised. I was craving sugar in particular, and I’ve been thinking a lot about bread. Don’t know why food is so on the brain today especially — delayed reaction to starving a little too much the last two days? Lesson learned. I have a stomach ache. edit: Lesson not learned. I had about 1/3 of a cup of candied nuts — more sugar craving. I probably just exacerbated it earlier with the vitamins.
Evening drink: leftovers over ice. I haven’t had this yet, will soon (and will update this). Skipped by accident again. I didn’t feel great after the nuts and just didn’t feel like ingesting a bunch of this stuff. Drank water instead.
