Susie! You’re starving! Your brain and body are trying to make you eat! You should read, “Health at Every Size” by Linda Bacon (hehe) and, “Rethinking Thin” by Gina Kolata (rhymes with Pina Colada! Ow!). They both talk a lot about fucked up starvation diets and how people literally dream about eating and start to go crazy. Stop the insanity!
Yes. Part of why I am doing this is because I want to debunk the insanity. I know it’s nuts! And it’s not about weight loss, I’m interested in “cleansing” myths. I’m under no illusions that this is healthy — though it does make me want to include more (of the delicious) juices with regular food too.
