Day ten.
Still thinking about food a lot today, but started off strong. There was free food at work, though, and I am a sucker for free stuff — I really thought I might give in. But I didn’t! I gave in later…
So okay, on the topic of weight loss: I mean, I figure I have lost some, and my pants are a little bit looser, but it doesn’t seem like a significant change. I can’t reiterate enough: not about weight loss! The craziness I’d love to get out of this experiment would be healing some old injuries, of which I have many. That nagging sharp pain in my shoulder, by the way, is gone…
Breakfast drink: banana ($.30) and five strawberries ($.40), blended with orange juice and a little soy milk, over ice. I went a little heavier on the OJ this go-around with excellent results. My new favorite. Freaking awesome, every time.
Snacks: 6 oz. coffee and soy milk and two tablespoons of Trader Joe’s hummus, and then I really broke down… I had two very small potatoes, chopped tiny and fried lightly in oil with salt, pepper and sage. I was craving some sort of filling food and I got it all right. My stomach is grumbling.
Evening drink: last bits of leftovers mixed ($.30), a little kale ($.30), the last of the spinach ($.40) and the last of the parsley ($.20). I actually haven’t made this yet but I am betting it will be pretty decent, since it is what I made last time.
