Day eighteen.
I’m writing this at 8:06 p.m. and I haven’t had any snacks at all today. I had a meeting this morning and then a short shift this afternoon, and I think breaking up my day like that kept me on my toes and less likely to wander to the fridge that’s only 20 feet from my desk.
Bodily function check-in: that pain in my right shoulder seems to be back, though much less severe. Not sure what that’s about. Knees are a little better, but things are still cracking a lot more than normal. It seems like I’m sleeping less than usual lately, closer to 7 hours, and always waking up naturally before 8, even if I still feel tired. This is pretty unusual for me. Also unusual for me and I would guess anyone else with a functioning digestive system would be that I am not really, well, expelling a whole lot of waste.
I’d skipped over the more scatological aspects of this thing, but really, I think it would be unfair to ignore them. I’d also like to weigh in on the weight loss issue in more depth. Would this bother anyone? I’ll put these in separate posts so you can skip the icky gross things if you want to.
Breakfast drink: same old, but I added an extra half a banana this time. I think I might keep doing this — made the thing a little more robust, kept me full longer.
Snacks: 4 ounces of coffee that I probably didn’t need, but it was so delicious.
Evening drink: Making this now! The plan is: three apples, one pear, four carrots, one cucumber, and two big bunches of broccoli.
